Juniper Lemon's Happiness Index by Julie Israel

5.0

Every so often I'll read a book that just sort of punches me in the face with emotions and I come out of reading it a weird mix of tears and laughter. Juniper Lemon's Happiness Index is one of those. Juniper is a great character - grieving the death of her sister, she's a hot mess of emotions and trying to make sense of it all. The other characters all have their own strengths and flesh out the book beautifully. I love the format of this book - it all fits together really well, even though some parts were a little predictable. Overall, I think it's a book that will stay with me for a while - it's well written, and resonated emotionally for me.
