Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

We all know the epilogue is trash. I also found the actual final showdown between Harry and Voldemort a bit anticlimactic considering it was primarily talking and Harry explaining his plan with the elder wand. The lead up though was incredible, and while I am not personally a fan of the conversations characters have in their head during a near death experience, that whole moment of the horcrux in Harry dying but Harry himself not actually dying was kind of iconic.
