Daughter of Sparta by Claire M. Andrews

3.0

This book fell trap to the usual issues with mythology themes books, being inaccurate and pacing. I feel I can excuse the inaccuratcies because it helps combat predictablility, but the pacing was rough. While reading, I lost track of what was going on quite often because details felt hurriedly thrown in. There was an attempt at slight connections back to details in the beginning, but those details were so small to begin with that the connections didn't hold substance. They felt like after-thoughts.

That being said, I'd like to keep reading the series. I liked the character design of these gods and goddesses.
