This was a fun, twisty book. It was fast-paced enough that it kept me invested the whole way through. This was more of an adventure story than most of R.L. Stine's books, but it still had some horror aspects and reminded me of Jaws. I wasn't sure how much plot there could really be given the premise of the book, but I was pleasantly surprised with how much went on. It reminded me a bit of A Series of Unfortunate Events and the Sinister Summer series.
