I recommend reading this while in Barcelona like I did. It's never going to be a classic and it's not going to knock your socks off. The book does however give you insight into the streets of Barcelona and gives you a taste of the city's history, without shoving it down your throat. No Word from Gurb (Sin Noticias de Gurb) is funny and keeps you on your toes. A great, quick read for a tourist or traveler who finds themselves in the magical city of Barcelona.
