#Dear Tomorrow: Notes to My Future Self by Maudy Ayunda

4.0

Dear Maudy, thanks for creating #DearTomorrow. It's kinda an eye-opening book, which reveals how hard your struggles are apart from so-called privilages you're in.

Well, the book truly realises me that not only does Maudy achieve many excellent things, but she is also vulnerable as humans are. She amazingly reveals much things about herself: misconception, what she dislikes and loves, favorite playlist, and stuff. So, for adoring fans her, it is a must-read book.

It comprises four sections: notes on being yourself, dreams, love, and mindsets. My favorite part is notes on dreams in which I found out that I am similar to her at some points. This chapter highlights the moment when her surroundings kept pushing her down while she tried to pursue dreams which is sort of relatable. Yet, she never give up on that and prove herself as dreamer to be succesful graduate.

I wish that I could follow her path, oh no, I need to walk on my own track. In the meantime, I would swell with joy and pride just like the way she describes in this book.

"#DearTomorrow
Remember that your journey is your own; do not allow yourself to be pressured if the source of the pressure is somebody else other than yourself. Others are entitled to their lives and opinions, as you are to yours."

Once again, shout out to Maudy to delivers such insightful words upon this inspiring notebook!
