In Too Deep: When Canadian Punks Took Over the World by Matt Bobkin, Adam Feibel
informative
fast-paced
3.5
At first I was confused by the scope of the book (seemingly this is mostly Southern Ontario bands from the 00’s so why is Gob here? No offense to Gob who I like), and I was a bit stung that my favorite Canadian punk bands weren’t being included.
But aside from the bands I knew I’d be happy to read about, some of them I was happy to learn about, and I was happy that my beloved bands like CBK, Propagandhi and Cancer Bats did get little side blurbs.
In the end, the book won me over.
