Very much like a [a:Tama Janowitz|58272|Tama Janowitz|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1279093295p2/58272.jpg] novel but not really as successful, I think. I'd much rather recommend [b:A Certain Age|100957|A Certain Age|Tama Janowitz|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1320472906s/100957.jpg|97344] or [b:Slaves of New York|233504|Slaves of New York|Tama Janowitz|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1348220640s/233504.jpg|1327151]. Funny, and very clever at times, however. Belle is like the rightful successor to an aging Janowitz, kind of like HBO's Girls is to Sex and the City.
