No Visible Bruises: What We Don't Know About Domestic Violence Can Kill Us by Rachel Louise Snyder, Rachel Louise Snyder
5.0
This was a hell of a book. Extremely thorough, rigorously researched, and completely grounded in the lived reality of domestic violence. It takes you through various stories of survivors and the ones who didn't survive, meanwhile hammering at the concept of domestic violence from all angles: victims, perpetrators, the legal system, the statistics, shelters, assistance programs, etc.
I learned a lot. Absolutely worthwhile.
