Parents Weekend
by Alex Finlay
dark
mysterious
tense
fast-paced
A side story here, a side story there, here's a side story, there's a side story, everywhere a side story.
Wayyyy too much going on in the book. Too many characters to be invested and too many things happening that just don't matter.
Now, I didn't dislike it per say, I just didn't like it. It's my least favorite Finlay book and a disappointment knowing he is capable of gems like The Night Shift and Every Last Fear.
It was a quick read, and if there had been less going on I would have enjoyed the main plot more.
