how many sneers can i get through before i go insane? seriously, everyone in this book sneers way too often lol.

jokes aside, i think this was a relatively good book with a nice premise, but it felt… off somehow. it wasn’t engaging enough; i didn’t feel attached to any of the characters, really. i remember now why i DNFed so early in my previous attempt to read this. 

that won’t stop me from reading the rest of the trilogy though. onward!
