For the most part I liked this book, but it ultimately fell flat. I didn't much care for the twist, and the ending felt very abrupt to me. I would have liked to see more of a lead up.

I also found it annoying that Kate did that stupid, reckless thing characters often do in suspense novels, purely for plot reasons. It's like watching those old teen horror flicks. You wonder why no one in them ever has a lick of sense of self-preservation.
