Hello, Darkness by Sandra Brown
2.0
This didn't work for me. My first Sandra Brown.\
First of all, this was too long. Just...too long. By the time we got to the end and finally got to the climax, I just did not care. Also, no real rootable characters. So much slut shaming, no actual nuance explored in why these teen girls were "sexual deviants." Just talked about how slutty they dressed and thats about it. Gavin sucked. Dean sucked. Paris sucked. Everyone is just unlikable and they were people we were supposed to root for.
The mystery had potential if the book didn't drag on for SO long. I think this book was just trying to do too much which is a common issue in romantic suspense.
I'm willing to read more from different time periods since this author has been publishing forever and is still publishing.
