**The bodyguard**

🤠🎬🏇😘

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

**Synopsis:**
Hannah Brooks looks more like a kindergarten teacher than somebody who could kill you. But the truth is, she’s a bodyguard, and she just got hired to protect superstar actor Jack Stapleton from his stalker.

Jack Stapleton’s a household name—captured by paparazzi on beaches the world over, famous for, among other things, rising out of the waves in all manner of clingy board shorts and glistening like a Roman deity. But a few years back, in the wake of a family tragedy, he dropped from the public eye and went off the grid.

They’ve got a secret.
Only one catch: He doesn’t want his family to know about his stalker. Or the bodyguard thing. And so Hannah—against her will and her better judgment—finds herself pretending to be Jack’s girlfriend as a cover.

What could possibly go wrong?

**Personal thoughts:**I really enjoyed the book. I just feel the other books I’ve read before overpowered my thoughts. I found myself enjoying the book but not enough to think and dwell on it. I love the clean romance 🥰 and loved the ending. I think I like the middle to ending more than the beginning. I loved the romance. Only criticism I have is I think the trope “he will never like me” is a little bit much. I get it, insecurities are real but I think when it stems from I’m normal and he’s famous, it can get unrealistic. I think if it played on her fear of trusting others it’s more realistic.

**Spicy level:** 🌶️🌶️/5 | fade to black, making out
