Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel

3.0

I started out with high expectations for this book. After all, it is a prize winner. It was good, but prize winning? I found the writing style uneven. Also, with so many men talking, you never know who is speaking. They seem to all be referred to as "he".

Cromwell and his household are filled with really engaging characters. Norfolk is a riot. But the rest of the characters seemed a little flat for me. Still, it was a good, if not too long, read. Not a bad way to spend a snowbound week.
