The Mind Readers by Lori Brighton
3.0

The concept kept me reading even when the writing made me want to quit. Aside from the grammatical errors (on a rampart’ instead of a rampage and ‘other’s’ instead of others), the writing was plodding and the characters flat. The frequent mentions of Lewis’ abs and and eyes could have come straight from the Mills and Boon school of writing. The one character I had any connection with, Caroline, was left as a dangling thread.

Can someone give this book to a good editor who will sharpen up the writing and remove the errors because it is a great concept which, despite the flaws, is making me contemplate book 2.
