Until the End of the World by Sarah Lyons Fleming

3.0

Knowing this book predates our current pandemic surprised me. I have been able to read pandemic books despite *motions around* all this but the similarity to things lately hit hard at first. Knowing the virus takes a different path helped me keep going.

The real weakness to this book is that it felt like it was written about young adults and for young adults and then suddenly our characters were aged up but their behaviors weren’t aged to match. You could especially see this in some relationships and also language choices. The capabilities of our main characters would make this impossible for young adults but with the age up and yet immature cast, it also just doesn’t work as is.
