I recommend this to everyone who wants to understand the surrounding historical, artistic and other aspects of the atmosphere surrounding the Adam and Eve story. I love the focus on the pre-eminent, central importance of unity in the story- above all other considerations.
While I am SO glad I found this book, I wish I could give this a 4.5 - while the majority is absolutely wonderful, I feel there were some sections that didn't exactly contribute to an increased understanding of the Adam and Eve story.
Definitely recommended.
