This has been my favorite book of the series so far. Jessie’s parents come to stay and are in complete denial about the magic in the house. Mr. Tom and her mother Amber on each other’s nerves because they both want to do household tasks. Jessie and Austin’s slow burn kicks up a notch. Of course there is battle at the end. This was funny and entertaining.
