I have thought about this book every single day since I have finished it. This is hands down the best book I have read to date. Not only is it truly a heartbreaking  literary masterpiece outlining how the worst of humanity can somehow lead us to find the best. Concurrently Yanahigara has somehow been able to describe the ugliest feelings that come along with severe illness/disability in the utmost tragic accuracy. 
I love this novel. This novel broke me. This novel forever changed me. Read it.
