 DNF for now. I just can't wrap my head around the way this novel is constructed with disjointed and apparently random narratives woven into single paragraphs, which makes no sense to me. 

I might have tried to continue but the scene where men are
consuming the brain of a live monkey described in great detail
really put me off. Perhaps the purpose of that scene is explained later on, but reading it, it seemed pointless. 

So that's it for me. And not really sure I'll come back to it regardless of the rave reviews that made me buy this book.
