Firstly, the book cover should have been a warning to me. It was awful.
Not sure if it was because Mariana was brought up and raised in the cartel way of life, but she doesn’t come across as being even a tiny bit scared throughout her entire ordeal.
The constant talk or thoughts about where Dicks were going to go. Aaargh!
