All-Star Batman #1 by Scott Snyder

5.0

i don't think that it'd be wrong to say that Scott Snyder's return wit All-star Batman was the most anticipated Rebirth Title and one was starting to fear whether or not the anticipation and expectation will weigh the author's story down . Good for us it didn't.

Scott Snyder had told that he's gonna try and make Two-face cool again and maybe even Surpass Joker in terms of where the Villains are ranked on basis of their respective infamy. While on the basis of the first issue it's hard to tell if that's gonna happen .

The comics was well directed as we start from the get go with Batman-wink-at-your-face-and-kick--your-ass-down action and then follow it back with events that transpired half an hour ago and later few hours ago to tell the tale of a journey that Batman is taking and he's making two-face tag-along as well, but two-face isn't going to go easy at all and he's made Batman the most wanted man in gotham .

P.s i nearly forgot to mention two things
1. the new yellow suit for Duke Thomas looks awful, i mean this is worst suit i have ever seen in a batman issue, i mean i wonder if Bruce Wayne has gone a bit broke coz that suit looks cheap

2. there's a very nice twist of a betrayal , Batman betrayed by someone closest to him and although it was a great idea ,one i never saw coming i was very sorry to see it , because that particular character is one of my favourites :(

The Comics is action packed , superbly directed and looking like becoming the best series in the rebirth . The Art of John Romita . Jr is always fun to witness and the reunion of Scott Snyder and John Romita imparts the story the beauty that it deserves, eagerly awaiting for the next issues
