Murder of Crows by Anne Bishop

5.0

There are so many reasons why Anne Bishop is my absolute favorite author and this story (and series) has every one of those within it.
Her world building is amazing and never done over the top, easily to envision and really enjoy without getting lost trying to figure out one place from the other.
She is thorough with her characters. They hardly ever sway from who they were meant to be, although in the past she has made a few main characters evolve too quickly which has made the stories a tad.. fake.
This book captivated me in a way only Anne Bishop is capable of doing. How she is able to have her readers feel joy and pain in one breath is nothing sort of magical.
