After a month of attempting to get through this book I have finally decided to DNF. This is my first DNF in years and I wish that I could finish it.
I received this as an ARC and was so excited, it seemed so promising. The marketing really did its job, however the writing had me irritated as I read. The tropes were all there but sorely missed what they were aiming for. It was reading similarly to Wattpad stories I used to read as a teenager, and not in a good way? I really hate leaving bad reviews, I’m sorry Carlie. I wish you all the best for your next book in the series.
