4.5/4.75… I found this a bit hard to get into at first, but once I got into it, it was a really fun read. I love the little family they made along the way. Eli was insufferable, I mean obviously but still. Victor from 10 years ago I also found insufferable but present day Victor is a lovely fellow. Sydney is a sweet little girl, her and her sisters relationship was pulling on my heartstrings. And finally Mitch is a loveable big man, a good friend.

The last chapter reflecting the first was really cool lol, yay Victor brought back to life, omg I was so scared Dol (the puppy) was not gonna be able to be revived the second time 💔. I kinda wish they hadn’t killed Serena fully though, I feel like she could’ve been redeemed. And I kinda feel like Victors reason for killing her was a reflection of Eli in him.
