Okay so I was loving this book up until 75% and then it did something silly.

Aline totally should've told him there at the river. It was their spot, the timing was right, and it would have been a lovely moment. Instead she's like nah, gtfo. And he leaves. Of course. He should have just told her to stuff it and gotten on the boat HONESTLY. All his papers were on it!!!! Everything he owned!!! What the fuck, Aline!!!! 

I started to like Livia and Gideon's stories better right when Aline and McKenna were just doing the same song and dance. I wish we could have had more of them.

Strong start, kinda sucky at the end.
