This book is so charming! I love how Abigail discovers her attraction to women and her feelings of uncertainty and confusion that eventually give way to bravery and love. Abigail and Mercy share a slow blooming romance that develops as they each learn and change from interacting with each other. The setting is delightfully whimsical. The murder mystery plot is engaging. The fairies are sufficiently otherworldly. Like the previous two books in this series, this book doesn't shy away from its politics, but the messages don't feel heavy handed, nor do they feel preachy. My heart is warm!
Moderate: Death, Grief, Murder, Classism
