What Happens in London by Julia Quinn
5.0

I LOVED this book. It's silly. It's fluffy. It's a romance! But I found myself grinning like an idiot while I was reading this book! I loved that Olivia was clever. I loved that she liked that Harry was clever. I liked that she had faults, knew them, and accepted them. I loved that they didn't lie to each other (well, Harry's stuff was a special circumstance). I loved that *SPOILER!!!!* it didn't boil down to a giant misunderstanding in the end where one gets mad at the other and doesn't let the other explain so they have to part for a while and then come back together. Because that ALWAYS happens. My biggest question at the end of this is: Are all Quinn's books like this? Because I've totally got a new author to read through!

At the beginning of the book: Can I tell you, once again, how incredibly annoyed I am to pick up a book at the store and bring it home only to realize it's not the first in a series? Or that it's even part of a series at all? Why is it so fucking hard to put that fact in the book list or inside the cover? I'm not even asking for the front of the cover. From reading the first part of this book, I'm thinking that this is one of those books where it probably doesn't matter as much, but I LOATHE reading stuff out of order and this keeps happening!!

On a positive note, I'm loving the book so far.
