Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews

5.0

I kinda loved this.
.
It's not ya, it would make for an r rated film on language and not shy about sex. But such interesting characters. great family dynamics. Slow burn to root for.

I should add that while the cover says romance, in an embarrassing bodice ripper way, it is an intense urban fantasy PI story (in which, yes, Nevada drools over Rogan, but in a relatable smart girl way, mostly because she is obviously a capable 3d person outside of finding Rogan magnetic).

Lots of plot. Wraps up a major arc satisfactorily but uncovers a series arc as well.
