This was such a fun and charming book! I had an opportunity to read the third book in the series first, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment and I actually wish I could have known these books as a kid. The character of Mildred is absolutely delightful and I adored her bad luck and crazy ideas (I may or may not see a bit of young me in her, haha).

The story is really funny and endearing, and I find it perfect for younger readers but I enjoyed it just as much now :)
