Crying as I type this, haha. Salt Houses follows multiple generations of a Palestinian family beginning in 1967, with Alia being the common thread throughout. POV being told by herself, her mother, her husband, her children and grandchildren, as they navigate motherhood, loss, grief, occupation, immigration, and a world in constant struggle.
Step outside your own POV and look at the world from that of an entire family uprooted by colonization and years of unrest.
