The Unlikely Escape of Uriah Heep by H.G. Parry

5.0

Spectacular! Don't let any niggly doubts about the conceit of this book put you off. The premise - which could have gone wildly wrong - is carried through with utter finesse by Parry, and I am now really, really excited about diving into her other novels. If you enjoy Alix E. Harrow's work, or Natasha Pulley, this'll be as resoundingly rewarding a read for you as I found it to be.
