I really enjoyed this series, but the whole time I was so on edge about Numair and Daine's relationship. She's 16 in this book, and he's in his 30s. Pierce portrayed it okay, so I didn't feel like he was being predatory or anything but... It still rubs me the wrong way, and I couldn't quite get into it. I don't think they're bad for each other or anything yada yada, but maybe if she was just maybe four or five years older than she is? 16 is suuuuuper young for someone in their 30s, and he literally watched her grow up. Just plain weird IMO
