Senlin Ascends by Josiah Bancroft

Thomas Senlin has always wanted to visit the Tower of Babel, so why not take his new bride there on their honeymoon! Sounds like a great idea. Upon their arrival, his wife goes missing and we begin the epic story of his search for her.  This is truly a unique story. The world of the Tower is manic, tense, strange and even dreamlike at times. It’s filled characters just as strange and sometimes off-putting. The author does a wonderful job of pulling the reader in,  giving just enough to keep us intrigued. The Tower itself is described very well and on such an epic scale. This is a fantastic start to a series that I can’t wait to continue reading.
