HOLY SHIT. I DARESAY THIS IS THE BEST BOOK I'VE READ THIS YEAR. OH MY GOD. Now i'm mad as hell that I don't have the third book yet. Seems like I'll spend days reading through an ebook. I honestly cannot with this book.
If you are not yet reading this series then what the hell are you doing?!?!?!?!?!?!
I loved this so much more than the first book because I liked the pacing so much more and there is just something very addictive with Kuang's writing. I just want to drink all her words in. It has been a while since I have read good fantasy books until this series showed up in my life. I wish it would never end. There were moments that I got bored in the first one but this book kept me engaged throughout the book.
I had been dying to finish this but I still had school and now that I have time I'm going to devour the last book of this. SOMEONE SHOULD SIGN A DEAL WITH THIS ALREADY I WANT TO SEE THIS ON A SCREEN.
I don't want to say more because of spoilers but this is just me right now.
