I loved this!!! Elowen being a princess but thrown into a dungeon by her FATHER because of dragons, she escapes and vows vengeance upon him. She's also ruthless and blood thirsty but she's also a cinnamon roll who wants to read and relax with her family.
This book channeled A LOT of Game of Thrones, with the politics, dragons, action, adventure, war, and even revenge killings. It was super enjoyable. Everyone needs to read this!!!
Cayden is in the top 5 of book boyfriends. He's dark, broody, epitome of touch or look at her and die, and only shows his cinnamon roll self to the one he loves. Sadly he doesn't have wings, but doesn't mind worshipping Elowen on his knees 😏
