I was never really into the 'enemies to lovers' trope so I was a little skeptical of this book at first, but the pace was so fast and exciting that it had me wanting to read it all in one session! The chemistry between Shay and Dom was so sparky that it had me on the edge of my seat. Dom is such an easy character to fall for, and he is proof that younger men are better! This read was racier than expected, and I saw a little bit of myself in Shay - we tend to lose ourselves in our work and we get too attached to every guy we date. We end up being a little cynical of love and doubt that we are able to truly experience it. As much as I loved this book, the betrayal of Dom at Podcon had me fuming at him for chapters on end. I didn't like what he did, and I did not appreciate how easily Shay took him back afterward. Overall, it was an easy read and I learnt that lifelong dreams can change, one does not have to spend one's entire life in one place.
