I would read any kind of romance so I was really hopeful when I started this book. A tons of 5-star reviews and also a good youtuber referred to it as one of her most favorite ever.
Ok then, let's read it. I thought.
And I started, and it was really a slow reading. Ok, I have to read more before getting addicted. So I kept reading. I was almost going fast. I read 2/3 of the book in one week, or less. But now I am really bored and I just want to finish it so I can read another book. I think it's too long and too boring. They are getting married and I am not even a little bit excited, there are not feelings at all. Just like "Am I close to the end yet?"
They fell in love at first sight, ok, nice. and then they started talking and have this long walks and then he helps her and they hide their feelings to everybody else and he saves her and then when everybody is dead they are happy...I feel like there should be more in their relationship, I don't feel that connection between the two of them.
The sad thing is that it is a trilogy so after this 800 pages book there are other 2 books and I really can't understand why. I think that the sum of the three books should be 800 pages not each one.
I really hope I am gonna change my mind when I'll finish it; but honestly now I don't like it and I can't wait to start another book ahah
