The book juxtaposes the life and work of Sefton Delmer - a British, Second World War black-propagandist - with a broader discussion on modern propaganda principles, focusing on their use in Russia and the US today.

While I found the detailed account of Delmer's daily operations a bit repetitive at times, the observations on contemporary propaganda and the general principles and definitions of propaganda were fascinating. I wish the book had delved deeper into it.
