While it took me a while to get into it, the whole setup payed off in the end. When the characters finally reconnect and everything we have seen happen finally starts making it’s point clear on why it was important, the speed at which i’ve consumed this book tripled. I personally enjoyed, as with the previous book, the time it took with it’s descriptions and setting up the scenes, it felt languid and honestly like a warm hug with how comforting it was while reading. This is a duology i have throughly enjoyed, so i would love to thank myself for judging books by their covers, and synopsis too sometimes :), but yes the covers are immaculate as is the story that they guard in between their fronts and backs!
