The Catch
by Amy Lea
I am not usually a fan of InstaLove, but this book was really sweet!
This book concludes the Influencers series, but you can read it without having read the others (although you should!). I really liked that it dove a bit into themes of grief and loss as well as responsibility and feeling as though you have to be the caretaker. I took on that role for YEARS and the burden it leaves you with is hard to explain. Melanie lives this and surrounds herself with superficial things to not let anyone in. One week with the Whaler family, though, and she realizes just how much she's been holding herself back from.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC!
