pace is okay but i guess standalones with the classic 300 pages length would feel shallow to me now because i didn't really feel anything while reading it at all... the plot is very predictable and the characters weren't really vibing with me. romance is flat just like every other aspects in this book. i didn't expect much, and yet it still managed to disappoint lmao
