The Butcher and the Wren
by Alaina Urquhart
At first the book was slow going and I couldn’t get into it like I have with other books. That is up until halfway through the first part of the book at least. It will hit you randomly and make you want to keep reading to find out what happens. Part two hits you with surprises, and then you’re left on a cliffhanger of sorts. Even with the cliffhanger ending, it was a book worth the read.
