I think the saying 'short and sweet' was first spoken after reading this book because that's exactly what this was.
If you haven't seen this movie, I think you will be touched by this beautiful, simple, heartwarming yet heartbreaking story.
If you are a fan of the movie, I think you might be disappointed in the book version. I do believe the movie was better in this case. It's rare but it does happen. The movie was able to take the essence of this book and really expand on it. It simply enhanced this lovely story and made it a masterpiece.
I'm glad that Nicholas wrote this beautiful story but I'm grateful that someone read this book and saw the potential to be one of the greatest love stories of all time and brought it to life on film. I wonder if Sparks wrote this now after writing many more books, if this one would be improved and expanded to give Noah and Allie the book they deserve.
