Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future by Ashlee Vance

5.0

Fantastic book. It both inspires me with the audacity Musk has to think BIG while at same time evokes a sad feeling that his lack of empathy appears to have cost him so many personal relationships (and cost so many hours of sweat and toil on the part of his employees). Do you have to trample over people to get ahead? I hope not, though this account of Musk and the Isaacson biography of Jobs make it appear that way. Overall, I am much more appreciative and in awe of what Musk has accomplished having read this book. I'm glad people like him are out there....though I'd never want to work at one of his companies.
