The Devil's Cave by Martin Walker

3.0

There is a peril in reading book after book in a series. The author's style becomes known. While the characters develop and the writing is wonderfully descriptive and the suspense builds usually in the last quarter of the book, it's beginning to feel a bit formulaic.

So, while I enjoyed this tale and spent the past two hours finishing the story, I am taking a break before picking up my next Bruno, Chief of Police!
