i came upon this book through tiktok and was completely enamoured from the first quote on,,, when i found out it would be published literally the day before my birthday i knew this book was made for me!!! and it did not disappoint in the least! i had to add the book onto storygraph myself but i don't mind i just really hope it will reach more people through here because this is 100% my all time favorite poetry book!! i love poetry with all my heart but as a person whose never been in a relationship it is oftentimes hard to relate to poetry since its more often than not written about a breakup or smth! My favorite poems would be more about family issues and problems with one's self,, and that is exactly what i found here!!! The last "chapter" is about the authors romantic relationship but tbh i don't minde that because it really was the minority of the book and the rest was more relatable than anything I've ever read!! Honestly, props to Alaska, I owe her my life :))
