The Lost Letters from Martha's Vineyard by Michael Callahan

adventurous emotional funny sad medium-paced

3.75

almost, ALMOST put this down at about 30 pages in. stuck with it after peeking ahead a little. and then at the end i cried like a damn baby (that could have been hormones, but still). i did find the writing style to be a little forced sometimes but by the end it seemed to find its stride. i don't know. i think this was just a story that hit at the right time. normally not my thing (a little bit schmaltzy), but i'm not sorry i read to the end.
