Lexi is a foster kid and gets transferred. She immediately feels drawn to rafferty but notices that a lot of the males in town seem strangely obsessed with her. Over time, she learns that the town has a secret and there’s a reason why many wolves are spotted in the area.  

—why choose shifter romance. It’s a bit different than the traditional lore in that wolves can’t smell their mates and girls have to be turned (they’re never born a shifter )
